Zabius fuscus scorplings

Today I noticed the scorplings of female 1 left their mothers back so I removed them. In total she has 46 young
I housed them per 5 in small styrofoam containers

Before I get to the pictures here's some data

1st ecdysis: 16 January 2008
Left mother: 19 January 2008
Total nr of young: 46

It depends on the species. Most buthids aren't, but most forest scorpions are. I'm not familiar with the species in question.

1st ecdysis: 17/18 January 2008
Left mother: 20 January 2008
Total nr of young: 50 (47 live + 3 dead)

So I now have 93 Zabius fuscus scorplings


This species is very social. Eric Ythier told me they do better communal
