This beautiful spider belongs to the genus Titiotus, a member of the false wolf spider family (Zoropsidae).

It's endemic to California and frequently mistaken for male Kukulcania and the recluse spider (Loxosceles).

Awesome! When I first spotted it, I had thought Kukulcania, but upon further examination it looked completely different! Haha, very much appreciated thank you!

For a bit in December I kept finding those in my house. I thought they were some kind of "mouse spiders" (i don't remember the scientific name). I practically either threw 'em outside or accidentally crushed them while trying to throw them outside.
