A friend of mine vaught a wolf spider for me. and WOW! the aggression it has. he brought it over in a deli cup it's about 3.5 inches with his legs, a biggie. I threw a cricket in the deli cup and it immediatly killed and ate it. I have him in a critter keeper right now, and he seems to be thriving, he eats tons! Question is, has anyone ever tried to hold one of these? His legs were sticking through the slots in the cage, and I was petting his feet very gently, he didnt seem to mind.

Thanks :)

Never hold any Wolf Spider, they're skittish, flighty, and potentially aggressive! They make awesome pets, I particularly like how they pounce on prey as you mentioned with legs fold back.
