white June Beetle

Found this yesterday, an adult white June beetle. took a few pictures then let it go, first time I recall seeing one like this..

Looks like a goldsmith beetle, Cotalpa ianigera, super cool find!

I agree, its the first one I have seen here in Michigan. I hope to find more, we also have a beetle called the American Oil Beetle. I don't see as many of the oil beetles since the neighbors cut the field next to us..
