Where To Find Scolopendra alternans/longipes In the Florida Keys

I’ll be visiting the Florida Keys this week, and I’m curious as to where I can find Scolopendra alternans/longipes and specific places that I can look for them. Any help would be appreciated. Thx!

Check iNaturalist.org and search the species, that's what I do.

Good luck. S longipes is a great species to keep.
Thank you! By chance do you know how big they get as adults? I’ve read that they only get around 5”-6”, but I’ve seen a picture of one that was 7” next to a ruler.

5”-6” is about right. They are sturdily built.
