However... This yearling has been in this exact position for 8 weeks now. Over top is a light piece of wood. Every few days I lift the wood to check. It responds by curling a little more tightly, so it's not dead or unresponsive. Temp and humidity seem right. Here are my questions: 1. I've heard surface moults are usually quick. Consider this my obligatory "IS EIGHT WEEKS TOO LONG SHOULD I CALL THE MILLIE AMBULANCE, ETC." question. 2. Is there a reason for me to stop lifting the wood every 3 or 4 days to peek?
