What species of praying mantis pls help identify

    Try to get more pictures. Especially frontal picture would be great.

    It looks like my Deroplatys dessicata, but I am not sure

    Does look like Deroplatys but not for sure.

    I'm going for Parasphendale affinis.


    Then again the eyes don't look right.

    Yeah, the eyes are very buggy and round, which led me to think of Deroplatys. Still could be something else. Nymphs are hard to ID especially from the side without seeing the segments.

    Pretty sure that's a Pnigomantis medioconstricta. I have one the same size that looks identical. Definitely not a dessicata.

    More than likely a Budwing Mantis - Parasphendale affinis. A little harder to determine due to quality of the photo.
