What species of huntsman is this

    hey all just picked up s random species of huntsman, it was labeled as an African huntsman, does anyone know what species it is?

    My guess is
    Palystes superciliosus

    Where’d you find a Palystes for sale? Those are very uncommon.

    I would like to see a dorsal shot.

    I found it at an expo for 20 bucks haha! I wish I could send a dorsal shot but he’s been hiding all day

    Hmm. My instinct says this might be H. venatoria.

    Venatoria has that stripe on the abdomen, but I don't think it's exclusive to them. It is a possibility though.

    Could be Venatoria. I saw the same ones at the White Plains expo!

    Yeah I saw it too but it’s not the one I bought , I bought this one from another vendor and it looks way different than the venatoria
