What is your favorite animal and why?

    I want to know (out of curiosity) what is you favorite invert and why? Mine is anthia sexmaculata which I got wedes day that I am super happy about.

    Nyctoporis carinata , I just love the way they stand sometimes with their front end raised and antennae waving as if they are searching for something.

    hogna carolinensis because they are like small amazing beautiful ferocious tarantulas that are super quirky and cute

    My mantids are the lowest maintainance but give me the most entertainment. Can't go wrong with that!

    Antlions, love the way they look like little sarlacc pits!

    Ants in the genus Cephalotes probably top my list. I find their unique appearance, behavior, and biology really fascinating and not many species are well known.

    Centipedes. Anything in the Scolopendromorpha. They way they move, hunt, and look is very alien and just fascinating to me. My favorite centipede is probably S. sp. Mint Legs because of color and temperament but centipedes in general are my favorite invert.

    Second would probably be mantids because of the way they act very human; I love the way they are always watching me back.
