Found out on my porch. Is it an Egg Sac? Cocoon? Something else? Resized_20181128_203046.jpeg

Looks like some cocoon, though I am not sure. Is it made out of dry grass?

We get a large variety of those thing around the house. Tropics, bug city. Some like the one pictured with similar materials, some dangling by a thread. I've always assumed they are insect cocoons. If you like I can take that picture and show it to my entomologist buddy next trip into the city.
