What is this little critter?

Found this guy at the beach don't know what it is. looks like a centipede but was swimming in the water and is flourescent. Can get more pictures if you want. qnsY0JxVQ2ampUF8%6eLJw.jpg

Which beach did you find it at? I haven’t been to the beach in a good 5 years, but haven’t seen anything like that I don’t think.

Because of the shape of the legs and the claws at the ends, it looks like it might be some kind of parasitic arthropod.

Parasitic as to fish, like the fish louse or maybe to other arthropods. I've never seen one of those either, what's the other side look like?

The arthropod was looking for food in the sand. When I brought it home it laid on its side flipping a tail flipper

My guess is a June Beetle, but I haven’t seen one in person, so I’m probably wrong. (Responded to the wrong thread, sorry!)

not sure what it is but whatever you do don't stick it in your ear. I saw a Star Trek movie where that happened and it didn't turn out so well for that guy.
