Some AB members are only gonna want high end, and some are only gonna want low end. Most, of course, will be in-between.

good one on the phlogius spp. I don't think they get shown nearly enough love. Couldn't part with mine, but I still need "eunice"

See, yeah. This is the problem with these threads. I never know if the original poster means which T's we most want to acquire, or which we enjoy most. I made a list of T's I would be most interested obtaining, and really couldn't say whether I like them or not for sure, as I haven't been able to get my hands on any of them.

i think the key word in my thread is "desire' or most commonly popular or sought after....

Hehe oops. I edited out the part you were quoting. :wall: sorry, yeah I took out that when I try to think of the most popular, I end up with my own list of spiders that I am wanting or have..

In no particular order or price range, just what I want...

p.murinus
e.cyanognathus
a.versicolor
avic.sp. ("peru purple")
paraphysa sp. (parvula?)
c.cyaneopubescens
p.rufilata
c.elegans
b.smithi
b.boehmei
b.klaasi
x.immanis

Of course there's more than that but I was only allowed to keep it at 12 max. :D
I think there's a good mix of hobby must-haves and some that I'll probably honestly never have but really want anyway (like the p.parvula and x.immanis).

My shopping list:

S. heros ssp other than tarantulas
Cyclosternum sp. 'machalla' (just need to order, actually)
T. blondi...female
L. parahybana...female
E. olivacea
M. balfouri

P. metallica...sometime in the future
Cyriopagiopus ssp
Psalmopoeus cambredgei and irminia
Avicularia versicolor
Avicularia minitrix

And after I complete this list, I think my collection is just about complete.

I should have done it this way. I own all but three of the ones on my list. But then again, I don't know if there is any given time that there are ten spiders that I am wanting. I just kind of go in spurts of interest. Right now I think I'd like to fill in my Phormictopus collection and also start acquiring Pamphobeteus sp.

I can only get one more, and I plan on it being C crawshayi.

But, if I could have 10-12 as well as enough experience to keep whatever I wanted, then I suppose:

H. maculata
P. Murinus
P. metalica
A. geniculata
A. purpurea or bicegoi, can't decide which
one of those jet black chicken-eating Ts, don't know the name
C. marshalli
G. aureostriata
B. boehmei
C. elegans
E. uatuman
either P. irmina or a second pokie.

A. amazonica
B. albiceps
B. klassi
P. ornata
P. rufilata
P. metallica
