well i saw my millipedes mating in july, but so far no babies?

You might well have babies in the tank but they often remain hidden in the substrate until they are a good bit older and have their colour. In saying that with a big pede like that you might be waiting a while. I have an AGB which is about 9 months but it's only about 2" :8o

cool thanks for the advice...if there are any babies in there when do you think i'll start seeing them? also what do they eat if they don't come out of the substrate?

some of my baby millis come out at night to eat, but when theyre tiny they are coprophagous (they eat the poo from the big ones)

Another trick I've found works quite well is to leave some fruit on the surface of the soil for a few days (trty to offer some food outside a feeding bowl so the babies can get to it). If you lift the pieces after a day or so you might see some tiny babies in the soil underneith them.
