I have limited experience with the care and raising of true spider egg sacs, so I'm just looking for some guidance in keeping the sac viable, as well as losing as few slings as possible. What can I expect in terms of difficulties as well as sac size?

I hope it's a successful venture resulting in numerous spiderlings.

Sac size is roughly 50-80 slings, pull the sac at day 24, keep slings together until molted to 2i and feed them well and then separate .
Small vials, substrate and cork. Slight ventilation, medium humidity .

Feed appropriate sized prey every 4-5 days
