I've been scouring the net trying to find a common name for Vaejovis puritanus. :wall: Does anyone here know what it is?

I have 4 scorps that look identical to V. puri in every way I could see, I'm 99.99% sure they're V. puri. 3 of the 4 are skittish and unlikely to sting. The fattest one (by far, lol) has a nasty temperament though. XD

Nope. I own several V puritanus. Sometimes referred to as California Black Backed or Back scorpion. Aptly named. Found in Baja, CA and parts of San Diego. Go with V puritanus on your web searches. Trade names are unreliable.

The most logical name considering the latin definition would be the Puritan scorpion.
