Using Burrow!

I got an adult wild caught female cobalt blue two weeks ago. I just got around to making a burrow for it today. Used inflated balloon to make cavern and a pvc pipe to make tunnel. Then deflated balloon and pulled it through the pipe. Worked wonderfully, I just looked into the cage and the cobalt is in the cavern. I think it is finally happy!!! :p

awesome i have tried making burrows with no luck my h.lividum just made a burrow check a few threads back for pics i have had her for months she jus started feeling like home and her burrow is awesome.Haplopelma sp take awile to settle it seems.

All of my asian burrowers have all dug their own burrows. They seem to like to be where the heat is placed on the enclosure and will readily dig their burrows next to it.:D

I think Ernie (mr. t) used the baloon method once before and documented it.. maybe he can point you in the right direction.
