Bought my first Scorpion, a California forest scorpion. I wanted something that requires husbandry that's very similar to a lot of the other invertebrates I already own. Doesn't really require supplementary heat, forest floor substrate, smaller (I don't quite have the space to dedicate to just one invert like an imperator).

The setup I have is pretty basic, and I plan on letting it dry out a bit and then keeping one side moist and another drier. Anything I've missed?

Also, it's WC and it looks really fat to me. Does it look gravid? Or just in need of a molt?

Great choice. Really neat species to keep and can be kept communally if given enough space and food.
