Oh, did I poke the beehive? My apologies haha.
Nah, it's all right. He's looking into buying a S.gig. "White Leg" mislabeled (or properly labeled!) as S. galapo., and I confused myself greatly trying to figure out the taxonomy.

Oh indeed. I took a look at that thread, and the fact that the seller's refusing to show pics gives me the impression that there's something a little shady going on. On the plus side, I may have a couple of small E. rubripes as freebies along with the big one that'll be arriving soon. I just hope my parents are okay with it.

Also does the setup seem like too much of a Dark Den ripoff? I only just thought of that now to be honest, but given the shape of my couch, there really wasn't really another option.
I've subbed. Aside from the sound already mentioned seems like great content. Looking forward to more. Keep it up.

Ripping off of Dark Den if you could even call it ripping off (which it isn't) is not a bad thing. If someone does something well, and has already worked out the kinks why not use the ideas found there to more rapidly improve what you're doing? There is no sense in reinventing the wheel. Dark Den when first starting out also said he wished there were more higher quality tarantula videos.

Got another pede under the radar; this is the golden variant of E. rubripes. The person who found it is going to catch some more soon. IMG_0179.PNG

Well, I had three new E. rubripes arrive today. They're all tigers like Azog. Unfortunately, they're at Dad's place, so I won't be seeing them (and making a video) until the weekend. According to him, the largest one is quite docile. I'm currently keeping all my pedes at Dad's place. However, Mum promised that she will let me keep more pedes at my place when my channel reaches 100 subs. Hopefully this vid, plus the anatomy vid and maybe a couple others, may be able to get me to that milestone.

Great news man.. 100 subs isn't hard to get so you shouldn't worry too much :)

Thanks. I personally feel as though the main reason Azog took so long to socialise was not its temperament, but the fact that I often kept chickening out whenever it went near my hand, and pulled it out of its way when it touched it. Once I started actually handling it, I'd say it took about two weeks to calm down.
