I've recently gotten two different slings,
One is a brachyplelma albopilosum (curly hair)
And the other is a brachyplelma vagans (red rump)
I purchased both at an event;
Well as now a few days later I've laid a small cricket in there enclosure and I'm afraid they won't eat. Im extremely nervous to losing them both as I'd be devastated on account I've not gotten over losing my rose hair 3 years ago. I need help and if anything reassurance

pictures of the slings and enclosures would help to determine any errors.
best thing to do with slings is prekilled and maybe precut (if the crickets are too big) offerings.
leave the food in the enclosure for a day, then remove it and throw it away. rinse and repeat every week.

Definitely buy “pinhead” crickets and crush their heads. Your slings are most likely intimidated by live prey. However, if you have some other mitigating factor like them being in premolt, killing a slings prey isn’t a bad idea anyway.
