What was a group of six scarlet millipedes is now a thriving springtail colony they we're adults when I got them not sure how old they were but there all gone now

I had a bunch of tan N. americanus die off and I’m turning it to a positive by adding spring tails and letting them eat the fungus that killed them. Sorry to hear about your pedes. Hmu if you want more rust reds though, I’ll give you a good deal and I can send complete houseing and soil mix.

Keep that substrate! If you had adults, the substrate is likely full of eggs.

Remember Scarlets don't have a terribly long lifespan. If you got them as adults, you could have just been keeping them in the last of their natural days.
