Time Lapse Settings Question

I am sensing an impending molt. I would love to get Time Lapse video footage.

What settings do you recommend for Time Lapse? 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds?

What have you used in the past? What works for you and what doesn't?

I wouldn't use a GoPro. Even on the narrow setting it's too wide and the footage isn't as clear. A lot of light is also needed for a great time lapse footage.
I use my 6th Gen iPod touch and a softbox. I feel I get pretty good results.

If I had to do time laps how long in between would depend on the size of the tarantula. The smaller the less time between photos the larger the longer time.

I usually do a video with my phone and speed it up till it's 3-5 mins long. That has worked the best for me.
