this is seriously weird...i've never seen this

the feathery part of my HA's pectines is turning black over time and i can't figure out why. i don't think it's mycosis because there isn't any moisture in the tank, being a desert scorp, and it's got me stumped. anyone have a problem like this ever? and if so, what is it? :?

It could still be mycosis, I had a Leiurus quinquestriatus that had only a tiny speck of it when I got her and it later spread all down one leg also in a dry tank.

hmm, it hasn't really spread from one central point tho, it's just sort of turned brown, then gray, then now on to black...
