That WTH moment...

... when you are sitting at your computer and one of these

jumps on your shoulder and your first reaction is its one of these

that you just fed and thought you forgot to put the top on the cup

I know they don't really look the same but when you are still half asleep you are just glad it wasn't one of these

Someday I gotta go against my laws of nature and teach myself to not instantly slap whichever part of my body I feel like something is crawling on.

I have had the opposite situation...

Me: Look at that big ol' wolf... spider on the... wall... *getting suspicious and narrowing eyes at it*

Partner: .. except it's... orange.. *also narrowing eyes*

Me: Someone is trying the free-range Orange Bob experiment again

I have eliminated that reaction from my being, and it has saved me and critters a lot of hassle.
