Tarantula-related Instagram shenanigans

I know I’m doing some slight thread resurrection here but I was browsing through my own instagram and saw someone liked one of my photos that I haven’t followed back, so I checked out their profile.

Front and center is a video of them handling their P. murinus. They then throw out the wonderful statement of (I’m paraphrasing here) “I was bitten as a child by spiders at least 22 times so I don’t mind a spider bite.”

I just saw a picture yesterday of someone holding, I think a P. regalis, which was quite cringe worthy.
