Hi, every month now my tarantulas been molting. however after it's second molt its been molting facing down (You know how usually tarantulas molt on their backs?) nah it walks around in its skin draging it around like a snake or even stays in it's pit and molts facing down.
after that it acts like any tarantula would.

Do some tarantulas molt like this, not on their backs?

They rarely do ime. But it does happen.
thank goodness, because my T acts really strange. And this is one of its behaviors that other T my friends have don't do. I was thinking at first there was something wrong.

Yeah, I can't really see any issue with it.

My GBB usually moults upright, she's never had a problem moulting like that.

Some of them will moult in odd positions or places.

Walking around with the skin dragging is a problem...it means the old molt is stuck and will need to be removed.

It's not to common, when it was a small sling, my B. albopilosum would molt upright. It doesn't seem to cause any problems.

I've seen several of my Ts molt upright before, most were slings or small juveniles.
