How big should a tarantula be in a 14x8x6 enclosure?
I wouldn't house anything smaller than 3" in an enclosure that sizeThanks! what do you think the smallest size could be?
what is the length, can't ASSUME.....How big should a tarantula be in a 14x8x6 enclosure?
You easily be able to most any spider up 6.5” in the enclosure.
That seems really tight for a 6.5". What do you use as your guidelines when sizing out an enclosure for 3" and above?I’m assuming terrestrial or fossorial:
Small slings, less than 3/4” like 1/2” and under, I put them in 2oz soufflé cups, I have 8 slings, 3/8” in those right now.
3/4” up to 3” I use 4x4x4 AMAC boxes...great container.
Over 3” I put them into their adult enclosure.
LxWxH.what is the length, can't ASSUME.....
At 3" the sub-adult is ready to be housed into a larger enclosure, yes that it true...4x4x4 AMAC is kind of tight fit for a 3” spider. That seems really tight for a 6.5". What do you use as your guidelines when sizing out an enclosure for 3" and above?
I have seen MORE than one person deviate. I don't assume.A six inch tall cage??
Uh, preferably nothing. I have some cages like that, last resort set ups.
LxWxH.
Yet to see one person deviate from that.
