well im heading to the ny reptile expo and thankfully theyll have arachnids and other exotic pets/bugs. im moving my 3 asians to a 10 gallon and thought ill use the tank theyre in now for a dessert type. any suggestions for a dessert type that wouldnt kill me with their sting, and i would prefer something more foreign than any american scorps.

Hey Chuck,

Glad to hear that you will be going to the reptile show. Maybe we will bump into each other there .... Always nice to meet fellow hobbyists. :)

Just to let you know, scorpions are not allowed at the NY reptile show, so if you are planning on getting scorps there, it will not happen. :(

But they will have many other pets that will keep you busy for a while. ;)

See you there,

Yes. :)

There will be (in addition to reptiles) tarantulas and centipedes; plus supplies and feeders .....

Bruce emailed me with the disappointing news - no scorps allowed
is there a law in ny state, or in whiteplanes banning scorps?

I believe that it's westchester county. I think it's a rule that nothing venemous is allowed. By venemous, they mean scorps and herps.
