Anybody have any reviews on the Lugarti "premium" substrate? Seems kinda steep price wise, but if it's worth it...

KC Tarantulas on YouTube did review and it seems pretty darn good.

Ive used everything but topsoil. I can't imagine why someone would need a layer for drainage though, unless they had H. gigas in a pool.

Almost 100% of my t's are on jungle mix. It holds in moisture for my humidity lovers (T stirmi, H. gigas) and doesn't mold. It's also really dark and makes a very attractive ground covering.

I know this is a necro but what is jungle mix?

I think it's pine and cedar that should be avoided

I usally mix peat and topsoil, sometimes adding a small ammount of clay. But i have also used soil that i have dug up in the forrest

its a brand name if coco fiber...like eco earth.
