So its been roughly 2 weeks since i last fed my tarantula because im away on vacation. Two days ago I went back home and check on him to make sure he’s fine, but still couldn’t fed him because my crickets supply is finnished and no pet store are open around this time of the year in my country. after that day I went on another one day trip and went back home, then i discovered that he created this weird clumps/balls of substrate. what are these?

ps. Im trying my best to find food for him, so Im sorry if not feeding my tarantula for a while sounds like an abuse. :dead:

Is your Tarantula a mature male? Perhaps he made a spermweb while you were gone, took it down and put the remains in the waterdish?
