Thats so weird. If I would have only seen the vent shot I would would have said that its definitly male.....but the first pictures leaves no doubt that its indeed female. Congrats!

I don't know guys, I'm probably just being the pessimist that I am, but the ventral shot looks overwhelmingly male to me (dark, dense patch of hairs above the furrow).

no doubt about it.

thats pointless.
if you think its a male then its a male.

That ventral picture was taken about a month ago. At that time, I posted a thread to ask for opinions, and everyone told me it was male. Even now, I'm being told the spider, ventrally, looks male - in fact, you did too.

who the 90% of people trying to up their post count?
or the 90% of people here that know nothing?
or the other 90% that just wanna follow someone else?

YOU HAVE A MOLT.

ventral sexing is not 100%

sexing by a molt is 100%....as long as you know what to look for.

see those"mickey mouse ears"?
there is no way that t is a male.

do you want a male? then be happy...

Yea, no doubt female...but that ventral shot is very male looking.

Thats cool though because I have three P.cambridgei that look male ventrally, so it gives me some hope that they could be female. Lol.

You lucked out man, congrats.

Yeah, I had two others which looked very male as well (ventrally), and I sold them as males :wall:

Oh well. Thanks, and good luck with yours. :)

The ventral pic doesn't have the tale tale "button"/bald spot in the center furrow area typical of male pokies. The denser area there does make it look male, but clearly isn't definitive.
