Are you sure that's an australian native? It looks a lot like a flat rock scorpion.

Eric Ythier lists the species of liocheles in Australia as:
Liocheles australasiae australasiae
Liocheles extensus
Liocheles karschii
Liocheles litodactylus
Liocheles polisorum
Liocheles waigiensis
not an easy task IDing species level from pics alone. range would probably help.

I have those. That is a Liocheles waigiensis.
They are also found in the Philippines. Pics are WC male found in the tropical rainforest of the main island Luzon. Males have a a "tooth" on the movable finger (tarsus).

all of these scorpions are native to australia and found in N.S.W

Brown Scorpion, Urodacus manicatus: body length 5-7 cm.

Desert Scorpion, Urodacus yaschenkoi: body length 7-12 cm.

Marbled Scorpion, Lychas marmoreus: body length 2-4cm.

Wood or Forest Scorpion, Cercophonius squama: body length 2.5-4.5 cm.

i am not 100% sure but it might be a Urodacus manicatus
and were did you find it anyway?
