I just got my first tarantula, she (I think) is a green bottle blue sling. I think she’s going to molt soon but she’s already been a joy to watch. She wasted no time spinning some webs when I put her in her new enclosure. From the tube I bought her in to a 4x3 acrylic tank. I already bought a 12x12x12 zoo med terrarium and set it up because I’m excited for her to be a big beautiful tarantula. Basically I wanted to post this for any tips or tricks for a newbie tarantula owner and if anyone can confirm his/her gender. That’s why I posted the picture of it’s underside. Thank y’all!

Good choice. You are a few molts away from being able to tell gender.

It's unlikely that your sling can be sexed at that size, but if you want people to try, please post your picture in the appropriate sexing gallery. See this thread for instructions: How to Request Species or Sex Identification.
