Small spider ID?

Found this little bugger today on my stairwell wall. Anyone know what species it is? My camera isn't so good but I can try and get more pictures if anyone needs them to ID it.

EDIT: Should clarify, I'm from Britain, North Yorkshire, if that helps!​

Looks like a lace-webbed weaver in genus Amaurobius. Compare with A. similis. This is a male, so I'd let him go to find a mate, if you haven't already.

I set him free not long after I caught him after realising he was a male, I find larger specimens in my garage quite a lot that look like females and lack the structure this guy has with his pedipalps. I set him loose in there, I'll know he'll have been successful when I walk in to get some food from the freezer and I get ambushed by tiny spiderlings. :happy:

Thank you for an ID, though. I forget weavers aren't always exotic spiders sometimes.
