Site Speed

    Is it just me or has the site slowed way down since the transfer to the dedicated server. I am sure there is always the chance that it is my ISP but since the shift I am haveing a terrible time getting pages to load. I dont have issues with other sites just this one.

    could you ping www.arachnoboards.com and pm the arachnopets acct what IP address it resolves to?

    It's actually been alot faster for me since the move....

    been miserably slow for me... to the point that i'm not checking in as i used to...

    It looks like you're seeing more than 80ms latency before even leaving your own network.
    Try pinging and tracerouting server1.revolutionhosting.net and post your results here as well.

    Also, I'm assuming that you're on a corporate/school network - do you notice any difference in speed at home?

    yeah, i'm working on things on my end and passing on to IT...
    home is OK...
    office even picked up after the traceroute... so who the heck knows...
    ironicly the issues were primarily with this site... no problems with any others...
