Does anyone know where you can purchase these in the US? I checked out Swift's site, couldnt find it... maybe I'm overlooking. But I'd love to have one or two in my collection! {D

I agree, they're behavior is similar to Meagphobema species. They stiffen up and stand up in a similar way. I use to have a Sericopelma rubronitens. Heres some old pics..

I'll try posting some shots of my S. sp. "rubronitens", once she molts. Unfortunately, I don't have any other Sericopelma spp. at the moment.
