    hello im wondering if any other americans on here managed to get any of these slings last year?i dont think very many were imported but would be nice to know who has them so we could plan breeding this rare species in the future.

  8. Anyone have more info on Sericopelma sp. Guapiles? Adult size, growth rate, slightly moist substrate?

    Like most Sericopelmas they get rather large (I've heard about 8" and I think it likely), medium growth rate, and yes, somewhat moist substrate.

    the biggest adult female i had see reach only a carapace length of 22 mm. instead other Sericopelma females reach 28mm or more than 30 mm.
