Scorpion - possible fungus?

Hi,

I am relatively new to scorpions, and I am worried about my first one. My knowledge is rather based on Birdspiders, so I would like to ask about your opinion. I noticed today, that my scorp has some white spots on one leg. I will put the pic in the attachment.

I'm curious, is it fungus, and should I worry about it.

Looks like frass, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Agreed. Might add some peat moss to the enclosure as a preventive measure though.

Birdspiders

The term in English is "Tarantula."

You can try rubbing it off with a wet Q tip to see if you can get some of that off.

If that is fungus i'd recommend for you to dry your enclosure for some days and just use a water dish for hydration. Hope it helps.
