scorpion Cant eat

my h. trilineatus cant eat. so i go and feed my h.trilineatus and it goes after the food grabs it stings it then continues to try and eat it, but it seems like it cant get a chomp in. It just keeps trying it is sorta skinny know and not to long back did i notice that that it was missing half a pectin could this have anything to do with his trouble getting the food in him im always picking dead crickets out of his cage also this scorpion is kinda unusuall i alway ALWAYS find it out and about. i need help this isnt one for the beginers
