I got 6 new T's today with enclosures. I got 0.1 G. pulchripes, 0.1 A. avic. 0.1 G porteri and unknown sex B. albopilosum, B smithi, P. murinus!! Only paid 150 for everything. The enclosures are all pretty dirty and not very well set up, so I just ordered all new exo-tera display cages for them.

That is a great deal! Though my wife would kill me if I carried in a haul like that and wanted to buy 6 exo-terra enclosures!

I am so envious. There IS a god.

Sidenote: the "0.1" "0.0.1", etc numbers that I see before the names - what do they represent?

I just put a litter dam in front of the door and I can pile up the substrate without affecting the ventilation.

There is no God but Pelinobius muticus and Pterinochilus murinus is his Prophet!

Because aside from the Avic, you bought terrestrials....those are arboreal enclosures.
Exo Terra makes terrestrial enclosures as well, unless you mean the fact that the design prevents you from putting in substrate as high as would really be needed for a terrestrial.

That's a sweet score! Congrats!

They're also, when compared to many cheaper options, poor choices for tarantula enclosures outside of larger arboreals. Especially for something like P. Murinus. Hope OP plans on replacing the mesh lids.

Daang, only 150$?! Show me your magical ways! And I have two Exo-terras, but they are waaay too big for spideys, my smaller one holds my gecko. Those cages are expensive xD

I know we have our differences but you don't have to write such mean things about me!
