Hi,

good news, the sling have emerged from the 2 eggsacs. very quickly. only some but they are quite big compare to the female.

the female feed them too.

nice ones

hatched a sac of these last week and there was 12 babies in it! The sac was very small.

Martin, do you know how much they usually have?
Out of all the species I own, I find these guys to have one of the best personalities:D

Chris,

I have no idea, our sac was small, but I cannot tell if maybe some babies ate each other. The female had laid the sac before we thought she did and we found the 2nd instars roaming with the female. They cannot have escaped as the ventilation holes were too small.

how long did it take from building the sac until you found the 2nd instar?

Hi Martin,

If I remember well, my 2 sacs hatched at my last breeding had more than 50 sling in each.

Thanks for the info, the babies were quite fat, there must have been some canibalism.
