I found my precious Tantra (her name) upside down today and appeared to be getting mauled by crickets. I removed her to a separate cage away from vicious crickets and she's still upside down. She's about 6. She's molted twice already. She respondes when I blow on her. Please help! I don't want anything to happen to her!
Thank you!

Now you’ve seperated her from the crickets leave her be undisturbed.

You’ve learnt the hard way about leaving crickets in an enclosure with a tarantula. Unless they eat prey straightaway, food should be removed within a day (maximum).

Cross your fingers and hope your T hasn’t been greatly harmed by the crickets but be prepared for the worst.

Thats tough...hope the crickets didn't do too much damage. All you can really do is leave her be and hope she manages to molt on her own.

Good luck.

Yeah, you should never have crickets roaming the enclosure....and with a rose hair especially....They have about the lowest food requirement in the t world...literally a dozen crickets would feed one for an entire year. In the future, a cricket not eaten in a few hours, if not immediately, should always be removed.

Good luck.
