Honestly,it seems there are very few people that have any Sericopelma. Imo, they are very enjoyable to own. Just my 2 cents.

As others have said A geniculata is a must have, P muticus is also a classic. Also if you like fossorial a lividus is always nice or any species of cyriopagopus you like. For arboreal I would say L violocapes and P ornata are beautiful large spiders

Thanks, didn’t know that had changed.
There was a revision of arboreal Ornithoctoninae pretty recently.

Aside from that one;

Lampropelma violaceopes = Omothymus violaceopes
Phormingochilus carpenteri = Lampropelma carpenteri
Omothymus thorelli = Omothymus schioedtei
Omothymus dromeus = Melognathus dromeus
Phormingochilus fuchsi = Omothymus fuchsi
Phormingochilus kirki = Lampropelma carpenteri

Omothymus rafni - New species
Phormingochilus tigrinus is removed from synonymy with Phormingochilus everetti

Man, I definitely would love a female O. aureotibialis!
My suggestions are M. balfouri. While they are classified as pet holes, mine comes up topside in the evenings.
Also, see if you can get one of the other interesting colour forms of P.murinus. I’m not entirely sure which ones are readily available in the US hobby, but I think there’s two of these P. murinus colour forms somewhere available in the US. They are really pretty neat.

Just checked the WSC, seems like O. violaceopes was changed last week. Fascinating.
