I was in the process of rehoming some of my P. regalis and I got a bit of a surprise. I have 6 of them and I rehomed 4 yesterday so today when I went to clean up the empty cups I took the first 2 I grabbed the cork bark with a tweezers and dumped the substrate into the trash no problem. The next one I popped the lid, not stopping to think that why did it have the lid on it when it didn't have a T inside, and I grabbed the cork bark with the tweezers and the T went nutzo. It scared the crap out of me, the cup just sort of vibrated Luckily he just made a few laps around the cup and didn't decide to make a break for it.

My hunters safety course years ago taught me a valuable lesson and I learned a similar one today... treat every cup as if it has a tarantula inside.

Also, always keep the cup pointed in a safe direction, never point it at anything you don't intend to destroy and don't rely on the cup's safety to keep the spider from escaping :D
