I recently pick up four red spotted newts. Three of them are in the red eft stage. Does anyone have advice for me as to how to take care of them? I have never had any sort of amphibian before. I would like to know how their aquarium should be set up (will I need a filter in my aquarium?), and what type of food they should be eating. I have been giving them crickets and they have consumed all I have given them. I gave them 8 the other day (4 in am, 4 in pm) and they gobbled them up. Can I overfeed them? Two look rather plump! Any advice, suggestion or web sites would be greatly appreciated!
