It was about time she got an upgrade, good thing the mites were spoted as well. hopefully it will not screw with her mating cycle and I can get some good eggs from her!
Here are a couple more pics, including her!

I made a pre burrow for her, hopefully she'll keep going further down and stay where I can see her!

Nice layered effect. Looks like she's dug down to the cretaceous period!

wow

Nice pics. Try covering the side of the tank with the preformed burrow with dark paper/cardboard. I've been doing this with some of my burrowers and I'm getting really nice burrows up against the glass so I can see what's going on down there. Good luck on getting a sac!

Hehe I know I know. But I have been thinking. I've always wanted to be one of those people that see the babies running in and out of the burrow. Either way, I'm going to have to get them out one way or the other...

Doesn't look overkill to me at all...she's a huge spider and deserves plenty of room to burrow. I think it looks great!

Overkill? Not at all man. She is a burrowing machine and I wanted to expand on the idea of it. Nothing wrong with doing this in my opinion. The tank needed a tune up, everything was literally free. This species is known to burrow a couple feet in Kenya, why not see if it'll happen? Overkill? Nah, but if you think so, keep it to yourself please.

Update

Just a little update on her progress. I taped the hand towel over to keep the light out.
