Really, i guess this question applies to scorpions in general as well.
I am pretty new to scorps, have a 3i B jacksoni for a few months, just bought what I think is a mid sized emp from a dude on kijiji. It measures about 3.5" - that's from the front of its body (not claws) to the end of its body (not tail)... is this the way we generally measure scorpion body length?
Anyway, since the owner had no idea, I was just wondering if there is any way to figure which instar it is at from this size. If my research has been correct, sexual maturity happens upon a set instar for most if not all species and once this instar is reached they do not molt anymore... is this right?
thanks a lot
