Question on Grammostola sp. formosa

Hey guys, a friend of mine has recently acquired a few Grammostola sp. formosa slings. I have been very curious on this species. Could anyone here enlighten me with a few things. I really find it interesting and am planning on getting one. Here are my questions:

• Are the sp. formosa a form of G. pulchra?
• Do they really grow white hairs or is that only on some specimens?
• Are they a true and accepted species of grammostola?
