Can anyone offer guidance on any information regarding what is being called Psalmopoeus sp "alquitran". I'm struggling to find even a shred of literature or the mention of this species.

I've seen pictures of them on Instagram. Very dark Psalmopoeus if I remember correctly.

Don't know anything about them tho.

Never heard of it....a new Psalmopeous you say:cigar:...hmmmm, I do like the sound of that.:astonished:

Everything I've gathered is that it's a species collected by Spiders World EU, they discovered it in Colombia. It's completely undescribed, solid black and gorgeous. There are a few slings scattered through some of my friends, no mature specimen in the states as far as I'm aware. Hopefully they're described soon.

@cold blood I mentioned the species to you a loonngggg time ago, when I first saw them they were being sold by Joe Rossi as sp "Midnight Jade" if I'm not mistaken.
