Post molt differences?

One of my Ivories disappeared for 2 weeks, and I was starting to think he may have died. Yesterday I saw him out and about, and while he doesn't look bigger (that I can tell), his exoskeleton looks more shiny and his legs appear to be lighter in color. Did he molt?

Sounds like it. From what I understand, after they molt they can shrink a little for a few days and then begin to expand. Shiny is a definite sign they have molted!

Agreed above. Also, don't worry if they disappear for a long time. I had a couple of Ivories go MIA for FIVE MONTHS. Then they just popped out again and were enormous. It was crazy, I thought for sure they'd died!
