Found it in Benson AZ (south east). I usually find bark scorpions but this one is MUCH bigger!. I am guessing desert hairy but I am not a big scorpion person. it does have a few hairs on its tail and claws.

they are neat and like to burrow can be communal too
The one I had was much smaller than my AZ barks you might be finding juvies lol
The specimen appears to be a female Hoffimannius spinigerus (=Vaejovis spinigerus), or at least a Vaejovis spp. The one with the black stripes could be an undescribed species, there are many of them, but it is similar in appearance to Vaejovis spp. as well...
